I’m thinking about my strategy for the day today, and wanted to share what my day looks like so that you too can start game-planning your hours effectively as well. Here’s an outlook on my Friday:
7:00am-7:15am stretching and ab work
It might not look like your average Friday, but when I know I have a weekend of travel ahead of me, I absolutely must optimize my time. So often I am asked how I get everything done that I do and still have time to have fun and shut everything off from time to time. Well, you now know. I maximize the days I can. Prioritize your plans and you too will have no problem getting more done in life than you ever have before, but, to do so, you must have an organized daily schedule!
Reflection of the Weekend:
What is it that you keep putting off doing because you claim you don’t have the time? Have you ever thought about your schedule in chunks like I do, with some days being highly scheduled and others being completely open and free?
Challenge of the Weekend:
Look at your next week’s schedule and then schedule in time for your dreams. If you’ve been thinking about writing something and haven’t yet started, schedule it in. It could be as simple as a 15-30 minute chunk of time. It’s time for you to stop making excuses. You no longer have permission to live in the land of average. Make one major modification or commitment to yourself for next week and then follow through!
